- - 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- - 1 teaspoon unsalted butter, softened
- - 1 teaspoon olive oil
- - ½ cup finely chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley
- - Salt and freshly ground pepper
Steam the beans for 4 to 6 minutes, until tender but still crisp. Drain and toss with butter, olive oil, parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
