We often get this question: “So, what changes with my diet when I reach my goal weight?” Answers to such a question will undoubtedly change from person to person. That being said there are a few things that ‘maintainers’ share in common. These few things can give you the structure and specificity you need to feel successful in transitioning to this phase.
In weight loss world, it is common to hear people say they want to look like a certain individual. More specifically, people tend to focus on a particular body part that they admire. However, it is much more effective to understand the intense effort required to build a ridiculous physique and scale your expectations appropriately.
If you are a runner or endurance competitor, or are looking to lose weight through running, it is important to know that performance goals and weight goals are separate animals. Pick one or the other, and then get after it.
